Thomas and my other peers, I have learned a lot and developed many skills that were hidden. Thomas class has helped me grow as a writer, critical thinker, reader, and has also build my vocabulary. There have been numerous activities I have taken part in throughout this course that has helped me become more social with my peers and see things in other peoples opinion. I have developed more strength and overcome major areas I have struggled with throughout my English education just in this one course.
First of all I know for sure it was a bit more challenging from the other English classes I have taken which are English and English English had a more detailed depth to reading and writing. All the blog posts and commenting to one another was something that opened up my way of thinking.
It actually helped me to become a lot more social in reading smoother and writing clearer. I believe what I learned from English will help me in my future career in Residential Building to be more calm around customers, understand their needs of requests, and just to be understanding of whatever I read and write.
Like I mentioned before, the reading assignment were interesting but a bit hard to get a full grasp on the text. I found myself reading over and over until I understood the meaning behind a paragraph, sentence and words. The whole deal of reading trained me to actually be better at it.
I can now read faster and smoother than before we began the class. I can now focus on what the story is about rather than letting my mind drift away.
Reading is being done every second of our lives. Even when watching television our eyes scam the pictures reading the setting and characters. That is what makes books and movies exciting is because your reading inside your mind and often you can see the words you think of.
I can say that I have met most requirements of our learning outcome. I mean I feel that I am a good reader and writer but there may be a lot of things that I need to clear up.
For sure I think that I have done my assignments to the best of my knowledge and can benefit from what I have learned. There is always going to be room for learning and I can still take what I learned from this class and apply it to the world.
Later on in life I may end up in another English class and a lot understand clearer just based off of my knowledge in English I realized that after reading I am able to dive right in about what to talk about of the text. I became focused on understanding how to use vocabulary in a specific way that is the correct way of writing.
The most important thing is that I catch on to my mistakes in writing right away. I also find different ways of making a paragraph or sentence sound good as to a better understanding. The challenges I had in this online class was time. I found out that each and every assignment was time consuming.
With that I learned that it is best to start on things early in case of any issues that prevent completion of my work. Honestly I had a hard time getting through this class and the assignments. As the weeks went by I understood the sequence to go through while taking an online class.
I created a schedule of what needed to be done.
